THE ROLE

Our client, Titan Logix Corp., is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their growing, collaborative team based in Edmonton, AB.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for strategic and operational leadership of the Company’s accounting and finance functions in a manner that supports the Company’s strategic growth plan and ensures operational efficiency. This hands-on role is both a strategic and operational opportunity that oversees primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the Company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, corporate compliance, insurance, real estate affairs, deal analysis, financing and investments and oversight on HR and operations.

Key support to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer will help to guide and influence decision making and to manage the Company in the best interest of the Company. You’re a proven leader of people with the ability to mentor and develop a team of finance and operational professionals and collaborate effectively with others. You also have the experience to maintain effective engagement with an audit committee and board in general, and other key external partners and stakeholders. Strategy, Planning, Direction and Risk Management

  • As a part of the Executive Leadership Team, the CFO works closely with the CEO and CPO to develop the corporate strategy presented to the board of directors and to implement effective long range and short-term planning processes to support the growth objectives of the
  • Provides in-depth, timely and effective KPI and performance measurement and risk management to ensure effective execution of plans for the overall organization and individual business units, development of mitigation measures and effective alignment of the organization around key goals and objectives.

Financial Management, Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

  • Orchestrates all aspects of the consolidated budgets, audits, taxation and tax strategies, accounting, insurances, and banking for the organization, ensuring continual compliance with regulatory, corporate

Operational, Relational and Team Management

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
  • Senior Level accounting experience at a CFO/VP of Finance capacity with progressive experience in financial management and leadership.
